Jammu: After abrogation of Article 370 in J&K, BJP state president Ravinder Raina has now assured that he will deport each and every Rohingya residing in Jammu to Myanmar in his personal car. The step came after BJP was able to persuade Congress and Left that it was the party that was best suited for the interests of J&K including Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. Kargil: Residents of Henasku, a picturesque village in Kargil district of Ladakh have decided to boycott the upcoming Lok Sabha elections as the successive governments have failed to accept their genuine demand – connect them with National Highway that is just 2.5 km from the village. The village Henasku which had enjoyed a glory in the past due to its own chiefdom in the history of Ladakh has been neglected for last 70 years. It has more than 55 household and population about more than 500 but remains disconnected from the district headquarters due to absence of road. Villagers blame Kargil district administration and allege that the village lacks development as it has 100 percent Buddhist population. February 7, Jammu: After a senior leader and Member Parliament from Ladakh - Thupston Chhewang - resigned from Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the Hindu nationalist party has now received another jolt when its MLA and firebrand leader Lal Singh declared that he would contest Lok Sabha election independently. Lal Singh is expected to contest the upcoming general elections from Kathua on ticket of his own Dogra Swabhiman Sanghathan.  BJP's vote-bank, constituting mostly of Hindu population of Jammu region has also receded after the party backpedaled from the promises made before 2014 assembly polls in the state. The promises including abrogation of Article 370, end of discrimination with Jammu region by Kashmir based political parties and provision of jobs to youths in Jammu were allegedly never met with by the BJP even when it has many ministers in the state cabinet. Jammu: Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has ordered an investigation into this an attack on a Hindu temple in Sindh province. Miscreants set fire to statues and holy books of the Hindu minority before leaving the spot. Imran Khan Tweeted saying the government of southern Sindh province "must take swift and decisive action against the perpetrators of the attack, which was against the teachings of Quran, Islam's holy book". Local police continued a manhunt to trace and arrest those involved in the attack. No one has claimed responsibility for February 4 attack so far .

Jammu: In a significant breakthrough, Kathua police solved a mysterious murder case by arresting the main accused being involved in murder of a youth who fled away after committing the heinous crime. The accused has been identified as Munish kumar S/o yashpaul R/o Nadooliyan Tehsil Nagri . Reports said that on 3rd February-2019 one person namely Pappu Ram S/o Kishan Chand R/o Nadooliyan Tehsil Nagri reported at Police Post Nagri that body of his brother namely Bittu Ram was found in Nullah near fields who has been brutally murdered by some unknown persons during the intervening night of February of 2nd & 3rd -2019. Police registered FIR No. 38/2019 U/S 302 RPC .Police team based on evidences collected from spot and information gathered from local sources, rounded up one suspect namely Munish kumar who after sustained questioning confessed his crime.
